Terms of Service

Using Bear Academy
Bear Academy is a classroom platform run by a practicing teacher. By signing in or using it you agree to these terms. Teachers use it to plan, present, assign, and assess; students use it at their teacher’s direction as part of class.
Accounts
Accounts are created for teachers and, by their teachers, for students. Keep your password private and don’t share your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. If you think an account has been misused, tell us right away.
Acceptable use
- Use the platform for teaching and learning, and follow your school’s rules.
- Don’t try to access anyone else’s account, class, or information.
- Don’t upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, or content you have no right to share.
- Don’t disrupt, probe, or overload the service.
Your content
Teachers keep ownership of the lessons, slides, assignments, and files they create, and students keep ownership of their own work. You give Bear Academy permission to store, display, and process that content only as needed to run the platform for you and your class. See the Privacy Policy for how information is handled, including optional Google account connections.
Third-party services
Optional integrations, such as connecting a Google account, are governed by that provider’s own terms as well as these. You can disconnect an integration at any time.
Availability and changes
The platform is provided “as is,” without warranties, and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it. Keep your own copies of anything you can’t afford to lose.
Ending access
You can stop using Bear Academy at any time, and can ask us to delete your information. We may suspend access that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Questions: [email protected].
